The London Spanish Film Festival is bringing the 9th edition of the Spring Weekend, an annual date to show what’s been going on on Spanish screens this past year. 9 different films will be screened in cinemas around London between Friday 12th and Sunday 14th of April. All screenings will be in Spanish with English subtitles, so this is a wonderful opportunity to continue learning Spanish outside the classroom! The Calçotada is a food festival that revolves around eating calçots (giant spring onions) and drinking wine from porrones (carafes). It is typical in the area of Catalonia and is celebrated every year towards the end of winter/beginning of spring. Since 2013, this festival celebrates Spanish theatre in London every year in June.
