¡Vamos a Valencia!
It’s no secret that the best way to learn a language is to practice it as much as possible: read it, write it, listen to it and (most importantly!) speak it. It comes as no surprise that moving abroad is often hailed as the ultimate strategy to master a language – after all, it is the only one that lets you do all of these things virtually all the time.
Of course, we cannot all move to Spain or a Latin American country just to learn Spanish (even if we’d love to, am I right?) – but we can do the second-best thing: join a weekend or one-week immersive Spanish course in sunny Valencia.
Vamos’ courses in Valencia are especially designed to “let you speak, speak, speak” so you can practice everything you know in a ‘real-life’ context – and this regardless of your level of Spanish. Because of this, they are a great way to boost your Spanish skills, all while having fun.
But don’t take my word for it! A few weeks ago, our group of students from London finished their immersive Spanish course in Valencia – and, judging from the big smiles on their faces, I think it’s safe to say that they loved it!
Reflecting on the experience, Jennifer, one of our students, told us:
“I had the opportunity to speak continuously and it felt like I made some big improvements and had the chance to consolidate my learning at Vamos so far”.
Congratulations to our wonderful group of students for completing the course. It was a pleasure to have you in Valencia and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Julia Rodriguez
¡Hola! My name is Julia and I am from Barcelona. I love learning new languages and have lived in 3 different countries. I believe that the best way of learning a language is being curious and practising as much as possible: speaking, reading, writing... In fact, reading and writing are my favourite hobbies, which is perfect because, when I'm not studying, I'm responsible for writing the articles for the Vamos blog and publishing content on our Facebook. I hope you enjoy reading my posts... and please don't forget to leave a comment to let me know what you think!
Keep on learning Spanish
Have fun learning Spanish as we upload the A1 and A2 episodes of Cava Baja, our cartoon soap in Madrid.
For higher levels, we'll test your Spanish with specially written articles from topics we find of interest from the news each week.Plus we'll keep you in touch with Hispanic culture in London, our teacher blogs and social events in the school. Have fun learning with Vamos.
