Argentine Film Festival London 18-21st August
August seems to be a great month for Hispanic cinema in London.
As well as a month long celebration of the Almodóvar’s work there’s also a showcase of ‘some of the best contemporary films from and about Argentina’.
The Argentine Film festival runs from 18-21st August in various cinemas across London and showcases some fantastic Argentinian Cinema.
I asked Andi what she thought of the upcoming festival and she told me that I should definitely watch The Clan, “a gripping true-crime noir thriller”, brought to us by acclaimed Argentinian director Pablo Trapero.
Plus, it’s a good excuse to have a glass of Malbec and an empanada (or even make your own with a little help from Andi!).
