Continúa el debate sobre qué hacer con los restos del dictador español Francisco Franco. Este mes, la Iglesia ha comunicado oficialmente al Gobierno que no autoriza el acceso al mausoleo en el que Franco está enterrado en el Valle de los Caídos, un polémico monumento franquista en homenaje a la Guerra Civil situado a las afueras de Madrid. A pesar de este nuevo contratiempo, el gobierno del Partido Socialista (PSOE) liderado por Pedro Sánchez insiste en que seguirá adelante con sus planes.

The debate over what to do with the remains of late Spanish dictator Francisco Franco continues. This month, the Catholic Church has officially informed government officials that it is denying them authorization to access the mausoleum where Franco is buried inside the Valley of the Fallen, a controversial Civil War memorial located outside Madrid. Despite this new setback, the government of Pedro Sánchez, of the Socialist Party (PSOE), says it will forge ahead with its plans.
